The
day concludes with the resurrection of Mass Mental. What do mega groups
Metallica and Skindred have in common? Mass Mental! The all star, all
monster group was founded by Metallica’s Robert Trujillo formerly of
Suicidal Tendencies and Skindred singer Clive “Benji” Webbe, formerly of
Dub War. Also in the band since the beginning is Warwick Artist Armand

1999 the band released “How to Write Love Songs”, along with the live
album “Live in Tokyo”. Both albums were released exclusively in Japan.
Shortly thereafter the band broke up, allowing the band members to
return to their main projects. In 2002, Mass Mental reunited briefly
with Roy Mayorga playing drums, although no new material resulted.

We are pleased to welcome renowned
producer Rob Cass to the Warwick family.
Rob Cass, who is based at
London's Abbey Road Studios, has worked with some of the biggest names in the
music world and recently produced and mixed the solo studio album 'Silver
Rails', forWarwick Signature Artist,
Jack Bruce."Producing Jack was a dream come
true," said Rob. "When I was a kid Jack Bruce was like some kind of
mythical character, so working with him was a little surreal at first, but we
soon became great friends. He is not only one of the greatest musicians ever,
but also a wonderful and caring human being who I look up to. He loves Warwick
basses so, of course, they were used nearly exclusively on the album."
Having recentlyfinished producing and mixing Bernie Marsden's new
album, 'Shine',Rob has also just taken delivery of a Warwick LWA 1000
lightweight amp."The DI output is
great when putting down bass in the control room," he tells us. "It's
just got this incredibly clear bass sound that I love.I've used it on every album that I've worked on since
I got it. It's now an essential part of the studio."
Check out the new promo videos with Framus Artist Devin Townsend. This new project is called Casualties of Cool and the songs in the videos are 'Mountaintop' and 'Flight'. Enjoy!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Sir Paul
McCartney and his new video "Early Days". Enjoy this great video! He
is playing a Framus guitar, can you tell us which model it is?
"As well as being a killer show, our gig at this years' Sonisphere Festival was the first time I'd used one of the Warwick WA600 heads and what a difference to my tone it made. Even on the big Bohemia stage the bass cut through brilliantly with plenty of the mid-range growl that I love. It's a brilliant addition to my Warwick rig."
