Jack Bruce Producer chooses Warwick
We are pleased to welcome renowned
producer Rob Cass to the Warwick family.
Rob Cass, who is based at
London's Abbey Road Studios, has worked with some of the biggest names in the
music world and recently produced and mixed the solo studio album 'Silver
Rails', for Warwick Signature Artist,
Jack Bruce.
"Producing Jack was a dream come
true," said Rob. "When I was a kid Jack Bruce was like some kind of
mythical character, so working with him was a little surreal at first, but we
soon became great friends. He is not only one of the greatest musicians ever,
but also a wonderful and caring human being who I look up to. He loves Warwick
basses so, of course, they were used nearly exclusively on the album."
Having recently finished producing and mixing Bernie Marsden's new
album, 'Shine', Rob has also just taken delivery of a Warwick LWA 1000
lightweight amp. "The DI output is
great when putting down bass in the control room," he tells us. "It's
just got this incredibly clear bass sound that I love. I've used it on every album that I've worked on since
I got it. It's now an essential part of the studio."

A message from Michael McKeegan of Therapy?...
"As well as being a killer show, our gig at this years' Sonisphere Festival was the first time I'd used one of the Warwick WA600 heads and what a difference to my tone it made. Even on the big Bohemia stage the bass cut through brilliantly with plenty of the mid-range growl that I love. It's a brilliant addition to my Warwick rig." Warwick on Tour with Kyle Sanders of Hellyeah!
Kyle Sanders has become one of the most sought-after players in the heavy music scene after his stints in bands like Bloodsimple and MonstrO, and has now joined the heavy metal supergroup HELLYEAH comprised of members of Panthera, Mudvayne and Nothingface.
The band will be on tour all over Europe and the US throughout the summer and fall, and Kyle will be relying solely on Warwick basses for his thundering low-end!
Kyle prefers the cut and aggression he gets from Warwick's Streamer Stage II basses. Warwick's unusually easy access to Left-handed models was one of the reason this lefty became involved, but the sound was what made him commit to the instruments. As you can see in the picture, Kyle's guitar locker is full to the brim with Warwick awesomeness! Don't miss their fall tour at the dates below with Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat, and be sure to check out their new album "Sangre por Sangre (Blood for Blood)"!
